Corporate Social Responsibility
TNT China Corporate Social Responsibility Circle
To strengthen its claim to social leadership, TNT has developed a strategy that integrates all existing and future social responsibility-related efforts. This strategy is illustrated by the TNT Social Responsibility Circle. It is this integrated approach that will differentiate TNT from its competitors. The three elements influence and reinforce each other:
Integrate – This is the foundation of TNT's social responsibility efforts. By implementing five international standards, introducing mission-related pay, reporting on our progress and implementing social responsibility in our leadership programmes, we will integrate social responsibility into every layer of our company, every process and, ultimately, every decision. TNT published its first CSR report in February 2005. See: http://group.tnt.com/corporatesustainability/Publicreporting/sustainabilityreport2004/index.asp
Improve – We will improve our sector's reputation
through the stakeholder dialogue begun by the World
Economic Forum's Logistics & Transportation Corporate Citizenship

Inspire – Our initiatives will differentiate us from competitors and further enhance our employee pride and company reputation. Moving the World is unique because it uses TNT's core competencies to address world problems.
Moving the World
In 2002, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and TNT entered into a partnership aimed at a single common goal: to help eradicate hunger amongst the poorest people in the world. As the largest corporate partner of the world's largest humanitarian aid agency, TNT has committed to leveraging its people, skills and assets to support WFP and help tackle the greatest logistics challenge of all: fighting world hunger to make a life-saving difference through Moving the World Program.
TNT and WFP's partnership focuses on five initiatives: Joint Logistics Supply Chain, Emergency Response, Private Sector Fundraising, School Feeding Support and Transparency & Accountability. Supporting WFP's Global School Feeding Campaign is the focus of Moving the World Program. Each year, WFP provides food aid to an average of 90 million people, including 56 million hungry children, in more than 80 countries. TNT aims to raise enough money every year to feed one child for each of its 162,000 employees.
Currently, there are two major activities, Walk the World and Colour the World International Drawing Competition are running under the umbrella of Moving the World Program.
Orange Care
As TNT China's main corporate social responsibility project, Orange Care was officially launched in March 2006 to help AIDS orphans. Together with the China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF), TNT China will establish an AIDS Orphan Special Foundation of 3 million in the next five years. The funds will be used to provide continuous schooling and improve the quality of life for at least 600 HIV/AIDS orphans in Dehong County in Yunnan. More
