Moving the World
2006 Competition Results
In the global TNT internal Colour the World competition, Xinyu Gu from Taiwan (8 years, daughter of TNT Taiwan Wenyi Chen) and Jiaying Tan from Dalian (9 years, daughter of TNT Dalian Dongyan Liang) swept the first and second international prizes for their respective age groups!
In TNT Greater China, a judging panel made up of 5 representatives from each business units selected top works from the 63 entries from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Each of these works was then sent to contest in the global final.
The annual Colour the World competition is part of the Moving the World program, an initiatives that partners TNT with the UN World Food Program. The winners will receive US$ 250 to donate to the program helping the hungry children in the world.
In 2006, the theme of the "Colour the World Drawing Contest" was "World Food Day in 2015: when there is enough to eat for all children on the planet!" The competition for 2007 will begin in Oct.
