| Sep. 2011 | TNT Express has achieved the successful integration of Chinese day-definite domestic road network (operated by TNT Hoau) with international Asia Road Network (ARN), thus creating the only scheduled pan Asia day-definite road network (China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore), which makes it easier for customers to ship products by road between China and Southeast Asia. This road network will provide customers in China and Southeast Asia with door-to-door import and export road freight solutions. TNT Express’ Day-Definite road freight service in China is up to 50% cheaper than air freight, while taking only 1-3 more days for arrival. The service has been adopted by customers in the high-tech, automation and industrial manufacturing sectors. |
| Sep. 2011 | TNT Hoau officially signed a strategic partnership agreement with the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation (CFPA) today, committed to the delivery of emergency relief supplies to areas heavily stricken by natural disasters. The agreement notes that whenever the CFPA is in need of emergency transportation, TNT Hoau will assign designated employees and "Day-Definite" vehicles, with the capability to deploy as soon as 24 hours after a disaster. Relief materials will be delivered to disaster areas through TNT Hoau's fast and safe "Day-Definite" road network across the nation. The first strategic partnership will last for three years. |
| Sep. 2011 | TNT Hoau was awarded the title of Best Call Center of the Year for 2011, marking the first time for a Chinese road delivery company to receive the award, in a competition with 400 participants. The award is recognition of TNT Hoau‘s National Call Center's outstanding customer service, which has a satisfaction level of 96%. |
| Aug. 2011 | TNT Express announced the opening of a 99,087-square-foot distribution facility in Hong Kong to provide Asia-Pacific regional distribution and value-added logistics services to the fashion industry. The Asia-Pacific Fashion Hub offers complete, customized supply chain management solutions to fashion companies and is staffed by dedicated professionals who are specialists in fashion logistics. The facility will be the centre of a hub-and-spoke system that reaches countries including Japan, Korea, China and Singapore. | June. 2011 | TNT International Express China today has been awarded as one of the "10 Best Employers in China 2011" for its alignment of positive people practices to business, based on the Aon Hewitt Best Employers in China 2011 study conducted by Aon Hewitt, the global leader in human resource consulting and outsourcing solutions, in partnership with Harvard Business Review, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, European Chamber of Commerce in China (UCCC) and some key online media. |
| May. 2011 | The "End Hunger: Walk the World" charity event, hosted jointly by WFP, CFPA and its global corporate partners TNT Express and DSM Group, took place at Shanghai Century Park. This event saw the participation of more than 3,000 employees from the above-mentioned companies and institutions, as well as their families and friends, who gathered simultaneously in Shanghai and other 29 cities across China to raise awareness of global hunger and also to raise funds to address the world hunger issue funds and awareness for fighting child hunger. |
| May. 2011 | TNT today proclaimed it will further strengthen its regional strategy of driving business synergy between its leading international express and domestic road delivery solutions to better support the burgeoning domestic and international express delivery markets in Western China, following its launch of the industry’s first dedicated freight flights between Chongqing and Europe last October. |
| Mar. 2011 | TNT today announced the deployment of Hangzhou’s first fully-electric delivery fleet. This is TNT’s second fleet of zero-emission electric delivery vehicles implemented in China after its pioneering launch in Shanghai last September. The expansion of green initiatives to Hangzhou is part of TNT’s global efforts to reduce carbon emissions through its daily operations. |
| Dec. 2010 | During TNT's annual Master Awards election, TNT China IE outperformed hundreds of other Business Units to win the Awards' Business Excellence accolade with our innovative customer experience initiatives. This is the first time in history TNT China IE has won this award. |
| Dec. 2010 | TNT China IE's "Me in Family" initiative was recognized in the TNT global Corporate Responsibility Awards Election 2010, winning the TNT Environmental award. | Nov. 2010 | TNT officially launched TNT Future Leaders Hope School in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province on November 25. The Hope School is part of the "TNT Future Leaders Post-Disaster Educational Aid Program", which demonstrates TNT's core corporate value and commitment to give back to local communities. At the School Opening Ceremony held day, TNT China International Express and TNT Hoau representatives also brought hundreds of books and teaching video material to the school. |

| Nov. 2010 | TNT Hoau announced that the company will add 92 new Day-Definite line-hauls in the market by the end of the year. The new additions will expand the company's national Day-Definite network from 246 line-hauls to 338. This move is part of TNT's global business strategy to foster its China business growth. It further strengthens TNT Hoau's national Day-Definite backbone network and also reinforces its leading position as a high-end day-definite road distribution service provider. |
| Oct. 2010 | TNT announced a new air service between Chongqing, a fast-growing high-tech manufacturing center in Western China, and Europe. TNT is the first international express company to provide dedicated flights between Chongqing and Europe in response to growing demand from the region's burgeoning high-tech industry. |
| Oct. 2010 | On Oct. 26, "China Brand Value Management Forum" co-organized by 21st Century Herald, a top financial press in China, and Interbrand, the largest comprehensive brand consulting company, was held in Hangzhou. On September 9, TNT was again awarded "Super sector leader" for ‘Industrial Goods and Services' (including ‘Industrial transportation') of the 2010 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI). This was the conclusion of a report published in Zurich by SAM, a sustainability investment specialist, which assessed the sustainability performance of over 1,300 listed companies. TNT will remain included in the DJSI Europe and DJSI World, comprising more than 300 companies that represent the top 10% of the leading sustainability companies in the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index. |
| Sep. 2010 | On September 8, TNT announced plans to invest a further 170 million Euros into TNT Hoau over the next few years. This new investment will enable TNT Hoau to strengthen its leadership position by enhancing its national Day-Definite road distribution network, upgrading its service offering, and investing further in staff development. By doing so, the company hopes to make further positive contributions to the wider development of China's road distribution industry; driving new standards for quality service, on-time delivery, and transport safety. |
| Sep. 2010 | TNT, the leading global international express company, today unveiled the industry's first pure electric vehicle fleet in China. Produced by Dongfeng Motor, one of China's leading automobile manufacturers, TNT's electric vehicle fleet – initially comprised of five vehicles – is locally designed, manufactured and assembled. After a successful three-month trial operation, the electric delivery fleet is now fully operational in Shanghai. In conjunction with the electric delivery fleet launch, TNT also organized a "Responsible Transport" forum at the Dutch Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo. |

On August 31, the Puxi Operation Center of TNT China IE's Shanghai branch was officially put into operation. Top management from TNT North Asia, TNT China and around 40 customers attended the opening ceremony to celebrate this milestone achievement. Mr. Li Hui De, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Postal Administration was invited to deliver a speech at the event. With the upgraded operation pipeline, the new center will increase efficiency to 1,500 consignments / hour, streamlining efficiencies for distribution across over 60 daily delivery vans – covering nearly all of the Puxi area. Comprised of a 5,000m² facilities, the operation center will also serve as a warehouse and enable the Shanghai branch to deliver package services, which includes: storage, dispatch and delivery for the major customers, providing superior customer service. Furthermore, the launch of the new operation center also provides strong support for the Shanghai branch — the largest branch of TNT China IE — providing capacity for future business growth, and allowing for continuous improvement in the delivery and service capabilities of TNT China IE as a whole. |

On August 25, TNT China launched its 5th international gateway in Shenzhen, after Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The new gateway occupies 1,600 m² and hires over 50 employees. Based at the Shenzhen International Airport, this new gateway integrated the previous express handling center and depot customs clearance office. Not only Shenzhen's local customers, but also customers from TNT's Dongguan, Zhuhai, and Zhongshan office can enjoy the customs clearance service provided by TNT's Shenzhen gateway and then have their shipments being transferred to Hong Kong gateway through road transportation before being exported abroad through the B747 freighter. This new gateway will greatly benefit TNT's business in the Pearl River Delta, especially in improving clearance working efficiency and shortening transit time. |

China was granted the "Best Call Center of the Year Award" for the second consecutive year since 2009. This annual award, which aims to recognize excellent customer service by corporations, was jointly granted by the International Customer Management Institute (ICMI) and the authoritative national Customers Contact Center Standard Committee (CCCS). East Region Contact Center (ERCC), the largest call center of TNT China, accepted the assessment on behalf of TNT China. All the 8 aspects evaluated, including staff management, system and process standard, performance management, corporate culture and etc., received very positive feedback from the auditing organization. |

On July 5, TNT announced it is increasing its air freight capacity between China and Europe to meet growing demand. Starting that day, TNT is scheduling an additional Boeing 747-400 ERF aircraft between China and its European air hub in Liege, Belgium. Since then, TNT would increase its service frequency to six flights per week from Shanghai and five flights per week from Hong Kong. This action is a respond to the stronger demand in China for the fastest guaranteed transit times between China and Europe. The 110-ton Boeing 747-400 ERF (Extended Range Freighter) offers a very competitive ton-mile cost in the industry. |

On June 6, around 2500 employees from TNT mainland China International Express, TNT Hoau, TNT Direct Mail, and their families and friends took part in the annual event "End Hunger: Walk the World" in 27 cities across China. This is the eighth time that TNT has taken part in this global event to end hunger, since its first kick off in China in 2002. This year, TNT successfully raised RMB 117,160 in China, which can provide 60,000+ nutritious lunches to hungry children. The funds raised in China will not only be used in World Food Programme's School Feeding Project in Cambodia, but provide nutritious meals to children in Sichuan Province via China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. |
| May. 2010 | Immediately following the 7.1-magnitude earthquake, which struck at Yushu County, Qinghai Province, the TNT North Asia Head Office, China IE and TNT Hoau have provided great support to the internal fundraising projects to help the kids that were affected in the Yushu earthquake. As to May 12, 2010, TNT has successfully raised more than RMB 400,000. Through TNT's cooperating with the China Youth Development Foundation, all funds raised will be used to sponsor students in the affected areas, and to establish libraries or computer rooms in the area's re-built hope schools. Meanwhile, TNT Hoau leveraged on its domestic road distribution expertise to provide delivery services for aid relief supplies to be transported to the affected areas. |
| Apr. 2010 | On April 17, TNT's Planet me initiative gained strong support from the 2,500 visitors to the 5th Shanghai Eco-Design Fair. This is the first time that TNT China IE has cooperated with environmental NGOs to release our CO2 emission reduction initiatives to external audiences. During the two-day fair, we promoted our Planet me initiative through holding a "Me in Family" Q&A competition, showing the Planet me cartoon video, as well as distributing Planet me booklets and bookmarks. As the biggest fair in the area of environmental protection, the Eco-Design Fair was jointly hosted by organizations and media outlets, which include the China CSR website, Woigreen Website, GIGA foundation and Shanghai Daily. In addition, 65 eco-conscious businesses were engaged to participate. |
| Mar. 2010 | TNT, the leading Sino-Europe International Express Company, today kicked off a three-year partnership with the China's longest running, largest and top-rated business school, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Under the TNT-CEIBS Partnership Agreement, both organizations have pledged to provide training to TNT's senior executives and more importantly, to support the overall development of the Chinese business landscape through the exchange of knowledge and best-practices. The two entities hosted an exclusive seminar to discuss the critical role that a company's corporate culture plays in driving positive and sustainable business performance. |
| Mar. 2010 | TNT Hoau, the wholly-owned subsidiary of TNT in China, announced the completion of its pioneering Day-Definite road distribution network, a first-of-its-kind in China, on March 8. The expanded network, which spans across China's key economic and business hubs, will allow customers across the country to enjoy the benefits of on-time shipments, which arrive in good condition and on a highly consistent basis. Within one year of the launch of the TNT Hoau Day-Definite road distribution service in China, the reliable and secure Day-Definite network has successfully expanded to 26 key Chinese cities, through 246 Day-Definite service line-hauls, radiating service coverage across nearly 800 TNT Hoau depots in the Bohai Bay, Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, as well as the major economic regions in central and western China. |
| Jan. 2010 | Since the earthquake occurred in early January, TNT has actively provided assistance to support relief efforts in Haiti. Besides offering its two aircraft, TNT also assigned an emergency response team, consisting of 2-4 employees, to the site in accordance with the WFP's requirements. In addition, TNT raised funds among employees and has donated EUR 300,000 the WFP. On January 22, TNT's Boeing 747 airlifted 100 metric tones of high energy biscuits to Miami and from there transported the biscuits to Haiti – this is the equivalent of 500,000 daily rations of food. |
| Dec. 2009 | On December 30 2009, TNT Hoau unveiled a new logo and advertising slogan for its Day-Definite service. The announcement coincides with the third anniversary of the successful integration between TNT and TNT Hoau, as well as the first anniversary of the Day-Definite road distribution service, which will occur at the beginning of this year, respectively. The style of the new logo is in keeping with the TNT brand concept but is supplemented with visual identifiers that underline TNT Hoau's leading position in the Chinese highway express industry. This new image highlights the brand proposition of being "On time, Safe and Credible". In addition, the Day-Definite Service has adjusted its advertising slogan to more fully emphasize the company's "Customer-centric" concept. The new slogan, "Day Definite Service: Living up to our word", reflects the confidence, commitment and ability of TNT Hoau. |
| Dec. 2009 | As a part of the execution of the Planet me project, TNT China kicked off "Me°in Family" on December 1. This badge redemption campaign, which will last for one month, encourages all employees and their family members to reduce the CO2 emission in their daily life by changing day-to-day habits through the accomplishment of 10 different tasks. The 10 tasks include growing a potted plant, using recycled water, installing energy saving lights, unplugging or switching off electric equipment when not in use, taking public transportation and categorizing waste. Each employee's family will receive a related badge in reward for finishing the task. Once they have collected enough badges, they have the chance to win a "Me°in Family" renovation fund worth ONE THOUSAND RMB or even TEN THOUSAND RMB. |
| Nov. 2009 | On November 20, TNT China IE successfully passed the "Investors in People" accreditation (IiP) review, marking the second time that TNT has gained this recognition since first passing the audit in 2007. The "Investors in People" accreditation is undoubtedly strong recognition and acknowledgement of TNT's belief that excellent service can only be provided through a commitment to cultivating great people. During the 5-day assessment, the external auditors interviewed over 100 randomly selected employees from different functions and levels working in the PVG, Qingdao and Shenzhen branches, in addition to the Head Office. Employees were evaluated on 10 aspects including Management Strategy, Corporate Culture, Staff Training, Communication of Team Issues, Personal Development and Internal Communication. |
| Nov. 2009 | Club Orange (www.cluborange.com.cn), the online customer communication platform for TNT China IE, was recently upgraded and re-launched on November 20, 2009 in order to offer a better customer experience in time for the platform's one year anniversary. The upgraded platform, which includes the addition of a Message Board and EDM delivery system, has further enhanced and humanized functions to support more efficient and effective communication between TNT and its customers. Based on customer surveys, the upgraded platform has also adjusted its gift list for points redemption. Through continuous improvements and upgrades, Club Orange will be bringing even more pleasant surprises and excellent experiences to our customers with its interactive platform. |
| Nov. 2009 | The TNT Orange Care project is forging ahead with the joint efforts of TNT, Yunnan Youth Foundation and the Dehong Communist Youth League. From November 2 through November 5, the fourth group of 11 TNT employees from different depots to be selected as Orange Care Ambassadors visited 90 sponsored kids at 10 elementary schools and conducted home visits to 13 foster children across 5 counties in Yunnan Province's Dehong State, China. Furthermore, the ambassadors established an additional 6 Orange Care reading corners at 6 elementary schools, as well as adding around 100 books to the Orange Care Reading Corner at Longchuan No.2 Elementary School, where over 60 sponsored kids study and live. To date, TNT has built 11 Reading Corners; helping to quench children's thirst for reading materials across Yunnan. |
| Oct. 2009 | On Oct. 26th, TNT received an award for "Best Corporate Culture Management " and has also been voted, by the online community, as one of the most "Popular Employers", following its earlier ranking as one of the "100 Best Human Resource Management Companies in China 2009". The award, which is one of China's most authoritative HR Management Awards, was organized by 51job Inc, a leading human resource services provider in China, together with a panel of judges from organizations such as the China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS), 21st Century Business Herald and the China Association for Labour Studies. The Wall Street Journal provided the exclusive international online media support for the award. |
| Sep. 2009 | On Sep. 18th, TNT started a new dedicated B747-400ER freighter service between Hong Kong and Europe, which would operate between Hong Kong and TNT's European air hub in Liege, Belgium. The company can thus offer its customers fast transit times, control and visibility over shipments moving between Asia and Europe, while optimising its costs and fleet utilisation. TNT's continuous investment in Asia clearly demonstrates its long-term confidence in the region and continual commitment to raise its service capabilities on behalf of its customers. |
| Sep. 2009 | TNT was named as global ‘Supersector leader' for ‘Industrial Goods and Services' (including ‘Industrial transportation') by the 2009 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI). Moreover, TNT earned the highest score of the over 1,000 listed companies included in the DJSI for the third consecutive year, and achieved the highest scores in 12 out of the 16 criteria that make up the index. |
| Jun. 2009 | On June 18, TNT inaugurated its road mega-hub in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. This state-of-the-art regional mega-hub will be operated and managed by TNT's wholly-owned subsidiary, TNT Hoau. Covering an area of 46,620 m², the mega-hub pioneers an upgraded network operation model in Chinese domestic road distribution services, significantly improving operation capacity and efficiency. Over the next 5 years, TNT will establish of 10 regional mega-hubs to tap China's growing domestic economy. |
| Jun. 2009 | At 10 a.m. on 7th June, over 3,400 people from TNT China and their families and friends took part in the annual "End Hunger: Walk the World" event in 25 cities across China and successfully raised enough money to provide 90,000+ nutritious lunches to poor children. This year, the funds raised in China will not only be used in World Food Programme's School Feeding Project in Cambodia, but to provide nutritious meals to poor children in Sichuan Province via the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. |
| Apr. 2009 | With investment from TNT, the ground was broken on 17th April for a Hope School in the earthquake-hit area of Guangyuan City in Sichuan Province. TNT's Post-Disaster Educational Aid Program also includes setting up 30 ‘TNT Future Leader' libraries and sponsoring 300 high-school students in Sichuan and Gansu province through ‘TNT Future Leader' Scholarships. |
| Feb. 2009 | TNT-Hoau officially launched its first domestic day-definite road distribution service in China. | Dec. 2008 | TNT China was recently ranked as one of the Top 50 Charity Companies at the 2008 First China Times Charity Forum. | Dec. 2008 | In late November, 12 Orange Care Ambassadors from different depots visited sponsored kids in Luxi, Ruili, Longchuan, Yingjiang and Lianghe counties in Yunnan province. They brought 500 books and items of sports equipment, purchased through the fundraising of our colleagues, and built the 5 reading corners at Longchuan No. 2 Elementary school, Luxi Zhefang Elementary School, Qingping Central Elementary School and Lukun Elementary School. |

| Sep. 2008 | The eight new branches, most of which will be located in the Pearl River Delta area and the Yangtze River Delta area – China's key manufacturing and export hubs. The cities covered are Dongguan, Zhongshan, Foshan, Shunde, Nanning, Wenzhou, Kunshan and Shanghai Pudong. Through this initiative TNT now has 34 international express branches in Mainland China. |
| Jul. 2008 | TNT announced the start of the only scheduled road services between China and five countries of Southeast Asia, using its Asia Road Network. From China, international road services to Southeast Asia will first be available from the South of the country. The Asia Road Network connects to TNT's international express network at Nanning and Guangzhou. |
| May. 2008 | Immediately following the huge earthquake, TNT China began working with four charitable organizations to support the disaster relief efforts. These organizations are the China Charity, the China Foundation for the Alleviation of Poverty, the China Youth Development Foundation and the China Foundation for Children and Adolescents. TNT utilized its huge domestic road transport network and fleet of trucks via Tiandi Hoau to help organize supplies. |
