TNT Logistics North America receives energy safety award for nearly one million injury-free miles

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – TNT Logistics North America has received Entergy Corporation's annual Safety Leadership Award.

TNT Logistics North America provides dedicated transportation services for Entergy Corporation, an electric power production company based in the Southwest.  During 2003, TNT Logistics'trucks traveled more than 857,000 miles between centralized warehouses on Entergy's behalf, and had no vehicular accidents or lost workdays due to injury.  This record has continued through the first five months of 2004.

This operation, which is managed out of Hammond, La., also received TNT Logistics'2003 President's Award for achieving similar results in safety for the customer and for being active participants in Entergy's Supply Chain Safety Advisory
Board.
