TNT Kicks off Its Annual Campus Recruitment in 9 cities in China
(October 30, 2008, Shanghai)—Leading global express services company, TNT, today announced that it will be kicking off its national campus recruitment today in China. Over the next month, the iconic TNT orange logo will be appearing on-campus at 12 academic institutions in 9 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Dalian, Xian, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xiamen. With the healthy and sustainable growth of its business in China, TNT plans to hire for over 500 job openings. In addition, this year marks the first time for TNT to extend its recruitment efforts into technical colleges so as to cast a wider net for recruiting talents to join its international express business and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tiandi Hoau. At the same time, under conditions of similar abilities, TNT will be giving priority to students from earthquake-stricken areas.
Systematic Recruitment for Multiple Positions
During the recruitment activities on campus this year, TNT is recruiting management and advanced management trainees for its international express division. Also for the first time, TNT will recruit management and advanced management trainees and potential management positions in various departments for domestic distribution business run by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tiandi Hoau.
This year, the on-campus recruitment process will consist of six steps – resume screening, campus presentation, group interview and written test, assessment, department interview and offer letter. The campus presentations are very important where students will have the opportunity to communicate face-to-face with members from TNT Greater China top management team. In addition, the campus recruitment will set up TNT assessment centers in each school which will stay be on-campus for a whole week to ensure withal of the students queries and concerns can be answered. Through different interview models such as case study assessment and role play, TNT will test each candidate on their qualities such as leadership, communication, innovation, before deciding on the best suitable students for TNT.
