On Mar 14, 2007, TNT completed the acquisition of Hoau. The acquisition of Hoau is a significant milestone for TNT. It expands TNT’s network coverage to about 1200 cities, which gives TNT a clear competitive advantage in China by improving distribution flow for customers and strengthening TNT’s growth.

Established in 1995, Hoau has the densest privately owned road network in the country and is currently one of the market leading transportation companies for freight and parcels serving. Hoau’s network serves over 160,000 customers. It has a network of 1,100 depots, 3,000 vehicles and 56 hubs covering all major and second-tier cities in China. Hoau currently has 12,000 employees. Hoau has been granted the rating of “AAAAA”, the highest category for the transportation industry in China.
